PRAYER
the prayer course II
An opportunity to process life’s most painful questions as we journey through Lent and reflect on four days of Christ’s Passion.
With 24-7 Prayers founder Pete Greig and co-host Gemma Hunt.
These five sessions, which include a video presentation followed by light refreshments and small group discussions are designed to help us explore the hardest and most personal questions we all ask about prayer.
When: Mondays in Lent at 8pm
Where: North Harrow Methodist Church HA2 6EQ
February 16th God On Mute: Engaging the Silence
Confronting the four big questions we ask when confronted by suffering.
February 23rd Maundy Thursday: How am I going to get through this?
Purpose in pain and strategies for dealing with disappointment.
March 2nd Good Friday: Why aren’t my prayers working?
Why does God allow suffering?
March 9th Holy Saturday: Where is God when heaven is silent?
The questions we ask between the pain of Good Friday and the miracle of Easter Sunday.
March 16th Easter Sunday? When will my prayers be answered?
Celebrating the hope we have in the resurrection of Jesus and anticipating the day when all our prayers will find their answer in His return.
Unanswered Prayer has been created to go alongside Pete Greig’s book “God on Mute” which explores the topics in the course in more detail.

Half Term Update
Thank you all so much for your prayers during the first half of this term! We were grateful to return to our lunch and after-school clubs at Roxeth and Aylward Primary, as well as leading assemblies in a few other schools!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as the second half of the term gets busier, starting with a Prayer and Reflective Space next week at Belmont School! It is a busy week for us with a lot of preparation, but we are so grateful for the opportunity to return for another year! We will be sending short, daily updates about the week as we cover the time in prayer.
The following week, Re:Gen will have a Volunteer Training Day on Saturday, 15th November from 10am-2pm at St. Peter’s, West Harrow. The hope for this time is to help encourage and equip members of local church congregations to get more involved, both inside and outside of the church walls, and to better understand their own spiritual gifts and provide opportunites to to serve. The cost is £5 to help cover the cost of lunch. This time is not just for Re:gen volunteers, but for ANYONE interested in growing in the giftings that God has given them, so PLEASE JOIN US!
Jesus answers prayer and we would like to pray for you. Send us your specific need by e-mail, phone or place a note in our letter box and we will pray for you. It doesn’t have to have your name on.
Do let us know when your prayer is answered.
